Tseyi Overlook

Walk in the Beauty of lovely fall weather in the heart of Navajo Land! Experience selected treasures of land and culture, some renown and others off the beaten track, in north-eastern Arizona and southern Utah.

Our scholar, 2nd generation Indian trader and author Mark Bahti, knows Southwestern history and anthropology. His knowledge extends far beyond the academic to reflect a lifetime acquaintance with the Navajo people.

We will consider the significance of landscape features in Navajo culture and marvel at the red sandstone spires of Monument Valley against the blue sky; we will explore the awesome wind washed depths of Canyon de Chelly. We’ll meet old and new generations of Navajos and traders, visionaries and teachers, who contribute to the strength of Navajo culture and development of art. We’ll join the people for meals.  Meet people who appreciate your interest in their lives and history, arts and culture, and who will offer special insights for you on this learning vacation. As a collector or traveler, you can buy arts and crafts or simply learn with knowledge and confidence.

This delightful learning vacation includes spacious and comfortable van transportation from Tucson where everyone enjoys a window seat for the best views of our thoughtfully chosen scenic route, delightful lodging, small group comforts, plus memories to treasure. $1995. $285 single supplement for private room. We hope you'll call us with your questions and join us for the fun!
