As is common in Oaxaca, the outer facade
is ancient, and often belies a modern interior. As you
enter the hotel through its impressive 200 year old door and into
the white, tranquil space, newly designed in the Oaxacan style with
archways, ironwork and rustic furnishings, you might imagine the
quiet elegance that the original builder envisioned here.
